Many patients travel specifically to see Dr. Dunn because no comparable foregut specialist is available near them. We make the process as easy as possible — including telemedicine for the initial consultation, insurance verification for your home state plan, and coordination of your recovery stay.
Nevada (Las Vegas, Reno, Henderson)
Nearest comparable foregut specialist is in the Bay Area. Many Nevada patients fly into SJC or SFO for a 2–3 day visit covering consultation and pre-op testing. Surgery typically scheduled on a second trip. Telemedicine first consultation available.
Arizona (Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tucson)
Arizona patients commonly fly into SJC (San Jose International), 15 minutes from Dr. Dunn's office. Several patients coordinate a same-week consultation and pre-op workup, then schedule surgery 3–4 weeks later. We handle the insurance verification for AZ-based plans.
Rest of California (LA, Sacramento, Central Valley)
Patients from throughout California travel to see Dr. Dunn as NorCal's only dedicated foregut specialist. We offer telemedicine for the initial consultation and can arrange an efficient in-person visit for testing and surgery on a minimal number of trips.
Telemedicine available for out-of-state patients in Nevada and Arizona. Initial consultations can be conducted by video so you can review records and discuss your case before making the trip to Los Gatos. Mention this when you call or select "Request telemedicine appointment" in the form.
